„Raising five children all by myself was not an easy task. There are all the worries about how to raise them on the one hand and being tough on the other hand.
I’m scared at night since my husband died. Therefore I have a sharp fork on my bedside table, just in case I would have to defend myself. Once a neighbor felt the prongs of my fork by mistake.
By day it is a different story. I’m working hard in order to take care of everything. I have extended the farm by one building and my plum brandy is well known far and wide.
I spend the summers on the alp. There I prepare my Muas*, which is widely known – what a spectacular view when I handle the giant pan for twelve people, the roasting of the eggs on top of the Muas with burning, clarified butter, with flames flaring up till two meters. But I always try to keep the prying eyes out of my kitchen because this is my secret specialty.
The Gigger* and the Hennen* happily join in for the meal on the Gostner Schwaige. “

Hennen: Young women, which gather the dried grass from the meadows

The suits are fitted with larch – and mountain pine wood from our forest and waste wood from our barn. 2 separate Bedrooms; Balcony; Lounge with couch and an attached kitchen with dishwasher, electric stove, fridge with icebox; Bathroom with shower or bathtub, WC, bidet; heated floor; Radio, TV, WiFi.
