The suite, ideal for the slightly larger family, is made from loden, stones from the near quarry and larch wood from the near forest. This materials where already used at Gertruds times and represent our passion for tradition.

In the past it had to be done like that, there where sixteen of us at my home, the Maliderhof. We were a very Christian family and that is still very important to me. I pray the rosary every day and when I go to church every Sunday, I will always have an offering for the collection bag.
I grew up with hard work; it was a natural thing for us children to help out where we could. I was fortunate to grow big and strong, some people say that I’m more capable of some other men, when it comes to farm work. However I’m not much of a cook, except for the knitter, which is my specialty, it’s the farmers task, to care for the food. “
